ASSISTED REPRODUCTION AND IN VITRO FERTILIZATION CONCEPTION UNIT
The centre was established at the fourth of january 2009and was opened by basrah university presedent.the centre offers consultations concerning infertility for both men and women and treatment after diagnosisby specialist doctors and professors.
The diagnosis includes sonography ,labortary analysis of semen and hormonal determination.
The appropreate treatment is presecribed for each case. also the centre offers the intra uterine insemination (IUI)after treating women by hormons and activation of sperms of their husbands using special media and labortary instrumentsspecially used for this purpose.

The centre is composed from the reception unit which contain th patient files and adjusted by the secretary giving appointments of diagnosis and examinations and analytical processes such as sonography or clinical examenation.
Also there is the sonography and clinical diagnosis unit.

16-different hormones to treat infertility problems.
Nowadays the centre offers consultations,examination,and treatments concerning infertile men and women in addition to intrauterine inseminationby activation of spermatozoa if there is aneed for it.
The centre hopping to complete the new building in the new college building in order to complete all the facilities of IVF which needs another systems and instrumentation and awider place.

Percentage of successive pregnancies after IUI was 25% from regesered cases but other posetive cases which were no regestered because pregnant women did not inform the centre about the pregnancy but they consult their own doctors.
